You’re backing out of the driveway in Waipahu, the trades are blowing, and you catch a cloud drifting from your tailpipe in the rearview mirror. Your stomach drops a little. Is this the beginning of an expensive problem, or is it the same harmless puff your car makes every cool morning? The honest answer is […]

You’re sitting at a red light on Farrington Highway, and the whole car does a little shimmy. Not a big one. Just enough that you glance at the dash, see nothing, and tell yourself it’s the AC compressor kicking on. Then it happens again on the on-ramp, and this time the car hesitates for half […]

The car still runs, but it feels a little flat. Maybe it takes more pedal to merge onto H-1, or the engine sounds rough at idle in Waipahu traffic. Nothing dramatic, just off. Plenty of Oahu drivers blame bad gas, heat, or age. Often the cause is simpler: a dirty engine air filter restricting airflow. […]

Pop the hood on a car that just limped into our Waipahu shop, and the story is usually written all over the engine bay before anyone says a word: a crusty white residue around a hose clamp, a radiator cap that hisses instead of seals, a coolant reservoir sitting bone dry. By the time it […]

You’re heading through Waipahu traffic, the maintenance light pops on, and you’re wondering whether this is a routine oil change or something more serious. That’s a common moment for local drivers, especially when the car still seems to be running fine. A lot of people focus on the oil itself and forget the oil filter. […]

You’re creeping along H-1, the A/C is on, the sun is cooking the dash, and then you notice the temperature gauge climbing. That moment gets your attention fast. If you’ve been asking “why is my car overheating?”, the short answer is simple: your engine is getting hotter than the cooling system can handle. Overheating isn’t […]

Gas prices in Hawaii sting, especially when you drive an older BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Chevy, or Jeep that still runs well but burns more fuel than you’d like. The good news is that better gas mileage rarely takes an expensive upgrade. Small maintenance fixes and smarter driving habits do most of the work. If you […]

You come back to your car after shopping or a beach stop and notice a puddle under the front end. Maybe it’s green, pink, or orange. If you’re on Oahu, the concern hits fast. Between heat, traffic, salt air, and hills, cooling system problems can quietly build until the engine starts running hot. The good […]

Your car starts fine one day, then the next day the lights look weak, the radio cuts out, or the battery light pops on while you’re driving home from town. On Oahu, that kind of electrical trouble is common enough that a lot of drivers assume it is just the battery. Sometimes it is. Often, […]

You’re cruising down the H-1, maybe heading for some ono grinds, when you see it. A small, amber light shaped like an engine pops up on your dashboard. It’s the check engine light, and it’s famous for causing instant stress. But take a deep breath, yeah? It’s not always a sign your car is about […]

Great experience. I brought my Prius in for a diagnostic on a dash board error light. Plus I knew that the rear bearings needed to be replaced. Their attentive behavior was immediate as I scheduled my Monday morning shop visit and the owner responded on a Sunday to schedule. Even though there was a diagnostic fee the amount was applied to the repair. In and out in the time committed on the estimate. Clean, very clean facilities from to the waiting room and throughout the shop. I will continue to use them for future Maintinance and repair’s.

I recently had my Honda serviced at Top Level Cars, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided a detailed explanation of the necessary repairs. The quality of the work was outstanding. My Honda now runs smoother than ever, and I have complete confidence in the repairs they performed. The technicians clearly know their craft, and their attention to detail was evident in the final result. What stood out the most was the transparency throughout the entire process. I was kept informed of the progress and costs at every step, ensuring there were no surprises when it came time to settle the bill. The prices were fair and competitive, especially considering the high level of service provided. Overall, Top Level Cars exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy auto service. I will definitely be returning for all my future car maintenance and repair needs.

First impressions: EXCELLENT! We have a Mercedes ML430 that needs some work on. Nick responded immediately and gave us a fair price, the best one we could find on the island. After checking, he recommended only one of the four repairs that others pushed for, and even that with no hurry whatsoever. In fact we felt so well treated by him that we didn’t mind doing his recommended work on our first visit, because we want the good service at TopLevel Cars recognized and paid for. We will definitely return!
